Jim Patterson

Board Member

Jim Patterson has spent decades building technology that serves people. He has led the design, development, and growth of humanistic products and services used by billions of people worldwide, at large technology companies such as Google and at venture-backed startups.

Today, Jim coaches and mentors conscious founders and mission-driven leaders, helping them build organizations that grow with purpose. His commitment to healing runs deeper still: he is currently pursuing a graduate degree in psychotherapy, with a focus on somatic therapy and psychedelic-assisted therapy. That work gives him a firsthand understanding of the care Mission to Live Foundation makes possible for veterans and first responders.

He is passionate about increasing responsible access to psychedelic therapy and considers it a sacred honor to support the healing journeys of the men and women who sacrifice so much to secure our safety and freedom, which we too often take for granted.

Jim brings strong governance and strategic expertise to M2L’s board. He is trained in board governance at Stanford Law School and holds a Master of Science in computer science from Stanford University and an MBA from Northwestern University.
