Apply for a Scholarship

Take the first step toward healing — your journey starts here.

At Mission to Live Foundation, we envision a world free of veterans’ and first responders’ suicide, where those in need can access safe, effective healing.

We are a veteran led non-profit organization that awards scholarships to deserving veterans and first responders to access psychedelic-assisted therapy retreats that primarily use ibogaine and 5-MeO-DMT therapeutic medicines to promote healing from mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), complex post-traumatic stress disorder (cPTSD), and substance use issues. We believe that these medicines, when coupled with a robust integration program, provide healing and lasting change in the populations we serve. Our scholarship program is open to ALL veterans and first responders who demonstrate a need for these therapies.

Access to transformational care should never be limited by cost.

That’s why Mission to Live Foundation offers scholarships to qualified veterans and first responders. If you seek healing from mTBI, cPTSD, depression, or trauma-related challenges, we invite you to apply using the application on our website. We are not able to respond to email inquiries.

Before You Apply: A Quick Note

We’re so glad you’re here, and we’re honored that you’re considering Mission to Live Foundation as part of your healing journey.

To support you effectively, our scholarships are only available to applicants who have already been accepted into a retreat with a safe, reputable provider outside the United States. If you haven’t yet been accepted to a retreat, that’s more than okay — it just means the next step is securing your spot with a provider first. Once you have your retreat name and start date, we’d love to hear from you.

Please follow the steps below to ensure your application is reviewed in a timely manner and does not delay you getting the support you need:

This allows us to process every application quickly and thoughtfully so we can focus our energy on getting you the support you need.
While we make every effort to fund every application we get, doing so requires us to raise money from donors who believe in this work and who are able and willing to support our efforts. At times, this means that we may not be able to fully fund every retreat, but we will try to fund at least a portion of your life-changing experience.

To help ensure your success, every scholarship recipient receives:

Funding for psychedelic-assisted therapy

Five individual pre- and post-retreat coaching/integration sessions

Access to weekly group integration sessions

Applications must be completed by the person attending a retreat. For example, a veteran spouse may not apply for the veteran seeking a scholarship. If you are completing this application, you certify that you are applying for yourself to receive a scholarship to attend a retreat program.

Do not copy and paste AI responses into your application. We want to hear from you, in your own words, why you are applying for a scholarship to attend a psychedelic-assisted retreat.

Please complete all information requested in the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered. This includes providing us with the name of the center where you will be participating in a retreat and the date that your retreat is scheduled to begin. Do not apply for a scholarship until you’ve been accepted to attend a retreat with a safe and reputable provider. We only provide scholarships to attend retreats outside of the United States.

Thank you for your interest in Mission Within Foundation.

At this time, we’ve reached capacity for processing new scholarship applications due to an overwhelming number of recent submissions. While we are not accepting new applications over the next 4–8 weeks, this is not a closure — just a pause, as we work to support those already in our care.

We understand that this may be disappointing, and we deeply appreciate your patience. Please check back with us in mid-January 2026, when we expect to reopen our application portal and continue providing access to the life-changing healing our programs offer.

Your commitment to healing and growth means the world to us.

With gratitude,
Mission Within Foundation
