“The psychedelic medicines that helped me confront my trauma and overcome addiction gave me my life back. My mission now is to help others realize that healing is possible.”

Christopher Hadley is a United States Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, and advocate for transformational healing through the responsible use of psychedelic medicines for veterans and individuals struggling with trauma and addiction. His journey toward healing and renewed purpose was made possible through the life-changing support of the Mission to Live Foundation, whose scholarship program helps veterans access innovative therapies that can provide real relief from the invisible wounds of service.

Christopher began his career serving in the infantry in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed the discipline, resilience, and leadership that would shape the rest of his life. Like many veterans, the transition back to civilian life brought challenges that extended far beyond leaving the battlefield. The weight of trauma, combined with the difficult process of rebuilding life after military service, led him into a long and difficult period of personal struggle.

Determined to rebuild his life, Christopher channeled his focus into entrepreneurship. He built a career in real estate investment, construction, and capital raising, founding and operating ventures centered on property acquisition, renovation, and development throughout Texas. Through his work, he not only managed complex projects but also built and led management teams and operational personnel responsible for running business operations, creating scalable systems that allowed his companies to grow. His business success reflected the same determination and leadership he had developed during his military service.

Christopher’s path toward healing finally changed when he was selected to receive a scholarship from Mission to Live Foundation. This allowed him to attend a transformational healing retreat at The Mission Within, a program specifically designed to support veterans seeking deep and lasting recovery from trauma and addiction.

What followed became the most profound and life-altering experience of his life. Through these experiences, Christopher was able to confront deeply rooted trauma, gain a powerful sense of clarity and self-understanding, and ultimately break free from the addiction and guilt ridden cycle that had held him captive for years. The experience not only brought healing—it gave Christopher a renewed sense of purpose. For the first time in years, he felt relief, peace, and the possibility of being able to truly move forward.

Today, Christopher is dedicated to ensuring that others—especially veterans who feel trapped by trauma, addiction, and the invisible wounds of service—know that healing is possible. As an Ambassador for the Mission to Live Foundation, he shares his story to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and help other veterans learn about the same life-changing opportunities that helped him reclaim his life.
