“If my advocacy for these medicines can help save one life, I will consider everything I’ve gone through to get me here worthwhile.”
Jeremy Tomlin is a United States Marine Corps veteran, business leader, and advocate for transformational healing through innovative mental health treatments for veterans struggling with the invisible wounds of war. Through sharing his personal journey, Jeremy works to raise awareness of life-saving alternative therapies and ensure that other veterans know that hope and healing are possible.
Jeremy currently serves as an Area Manager for an international service company supporting the downstream oil, gas, and petrochemical industries along the Texas Gulf Coast. Throughout his professional career, he has built a reputation for leadership, accountability, and service, values that were first instilled during his military service in the United States Marine Corps.
Jeremy served as an infantryman in the Marine Corps and deployed in support of both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Like many combat veterans, the transition from military service to civilian life brought challenges that were difficult to navigate alone. After returning home and being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps, Jeremy struggled with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), anxiety, and depression. Despite pursuing traditional treatment options, including therapy and pharmaceutical medications, he found that the relief they provided was often temporary and failed to address the deeper issues he faced.
For years, Jeremy continued to search for answers while carrying the weight of his experiences. In January 2025, his life changed when he was selected to receive a scholarship from the Mission to Live Foundation, providing him the opportunity to participate in a healing program through The Mission Within utilizing psychedelic-assisted therapy.
The experience proved to be transformative. Through these treatments, Jeremy was able to confront trauma that had followed him since his military service, gain a renewed sense of clarity and purpose, and begin a path toward healing that he had long believed was out of reach. The impact was profound, and Jeremy firmly believes that the experience saved his life.
Today, Jeremy is honored to serve as an Ambassador for the Mission to Live Foundation. By sharing his story, he hopes to reduce stigma, educate others about the potential of psychedelic-assisted therapies, and advocate for greater access to innovative treatment options for veterans suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other service-related challenges.
Jeremy’s mission is simple: to ensure that veterans who are struggling know they are not alone and that effective pathways to healing exist. He is dedicated to helping as many veterans as possible discover the same hope, healing, and renewed purpose that changed his own life.
