Ray Summers is a father, husband, Army Ranger, and 9/11 rescue worker who has spent much of his life serving others while learning how to truly become present in his own life.
Ray’s healing journey began long before he understood what he was carrying. In 2011, just before retiring from military and government service, he started recognizing that something inside him needed attention, though at the time he had little understanding of the role childhood trauma had played throughout his life.
Over the years, he pursued every avenue of healing he could find, including CPT, CBT, ACT, EMDR, Stellate Ganglion Block therapy, and other modalities. Each step helped prepare him for deeper work.
Three years ago, while attending a Camp Homefront retreat through All Secure Foundation with his spouse, he was introduced to Ibogaine through stories of other service members- like himself- who had used it as part of their healing journey.
Ray attended a program through Mission Within in July of 2025. What he has learned is that this medicine is not about escape-It is about readiness, honesty, and surrender to the work required for lasting change.
This journey has helped reconnect him not only to himself, but also to his family and purpose.
Today, his wife and three incredible teenage children get to experience life with him fully present, aware, and engaged in ways that were not always possible before.
In addition to striving each day to be a Godly and capable man, he remains committed to service in whatever capacity he can offer. He was honored as New Hampshire Hero of the Year in 2002 for actions taken at Ground Zero following September 11 attacks, but his greatest purpose today is helping others find hope, healing, and connection in their own journeys.
He is here to serve and grateful for the opportunity to connect with anyone interested in healing, growth, and the path forward.
